Undergraduate Student Research Project

Applications are now being accepted for NASA's Undergraduate Student Research Project. The NASA USRP experience consists of a 10- or 15-week research experience at a participating NASA center under the supervision of a NASA technical mentor. A stipend and travel expenses are also provided. Two sessions, one in summer and one in fall, are available.

Applicants must be enrolled full-time in an accredited U.S. college or university and be rising juniors or seniors during the Spring 2007 semester or quarter. Highly qualified applicants must be pursuing an undergraduate degree or have demonstrated coursework concentration in engineering, mathematics, computer science, or physical or life sciences.

The application deadline for the summer session is Jan. 31, 2007, and for the fall session, Feb. 28, 2007. For more information, visit http://www.vsgc.odu.edu/Menu3_1_3.htm

Graduate Student Researchers Project

GSRP supports approximately 300 graduate students annually. Applicants must be currently enrolled or accepted as full-time students at an accredited U.S. college or university. Applicants must also be U.S. citizens.

All application materials must be received no later than Feb. 1, 2007. For more information, visit http://fellowships.hq.nasa.gov/GSRP/nav/

NASA Aeronautics Fellowship

Applications are now being accepted for NASA's Aeronautics Fellowship. The Aeronautics Fellowship is open to full-time graduate students who are U.S. citizens and are enrolled in, or have been accepted by, an accredited master's degree program in aeronautical engineering or equivalent programs at accredited institutions of higher education.

In addition to the scholarship stipend awarded, each of the three individuals selected will receive the option for a summer or 10-week internship to conduct aeronautics research at a NASA center. Each scholarship recipient will pursue his or her research under the guidance of a NASA mentor or advisor affiliated with NASA aeronautics research.

Applications are due on Feb. 1, 2007. For more information, visit http://fellowships.hq.nasa.gov/GSRP/home/armd.cfm
